ABOUT

So a handful of years ago, I became a Christian, which is soooo ridiculous, because the chances of this guy ever becoming a Christian, weren’t slim to none.  They were just none.  Period.

*

Check it out.

*

I used to see Christianity as a crutch for the weak minded.

*

I used to see church as a business that preyed upon the weak minded above.

*

I used to see Christians as…..well, you guessed it – weak minded, with a side order of lame.  And don’t even get me started on hypocritical.  If you wanted to lose all credibility with me, all you had to do was say something about Jesus.

*

…..And finally, I used to see God as Buzzkill Giganticus.

*

See what I mean?

*

Fast forward 180 degrees later…..and I’m an Unlikely Christian.

*

I know there’s a list out there of stranger things that have happened, but trust me, it can’t be more than a page long.

*

That being said, this blog isn’t so much about how I got here.  Yeah I have a story, but it’s not something that will leave you saying, “Duuuude…..”  God simply broke down my defenses without me knowing it, and gave me a gentle nudge this direction.

*

So what’s it about?

*

Well…..it’s about God.

*

And me.

*

And sometimes my friend Doubting Matthew.

*

It’s about faith.

*

It’s about growth.

*

It’s about fails.

*

It’s about learning.

*

It’s about reaching.

*

It’s about sharing.

*

…..It’s about an invitation to a highly unlikely, yet fantastic, walk I’m on.
