I know, I know, I posted this on my old site but I can’t help it!  I love this! It’s a great example/match for a Where I find God post.  I also like it because it’s an awesome example of somebody using their God given creativity and talent.

You can learn more about the creator of God and Dog (Wendy Francisco) at GodandDog.org

So where do you find God?

Here’s where Robin finds God: I see God every time my students get together in remembrance of their friend & classmate who lost his battle with cancer last year. When this group of young men and women get together, you feel Collin Zimmer’s presence. They play & laugh like siblings and I know it is thru God’s grace that these children will do great things in Collin’s memory & God’s glory.”

Here’s where Gladys finds God: I see God every time I look at my children and grandchildren. I gave birth to two daughter 4 yrs apart, only God could have made them because I have messed up so many small things in my life, that I surely would have messed that up to. Those two daughters have given me 5 wonderful grandsons and a granddaughter on the way. I have been by the sides of my girls through each delivery and been blessed to get the first good look at each of the babies. Only God above could have developed the complex activity within a womans womb to create such a beautiful outcome. I am looking forward to being witness to the birth of my grand daughter come Oct and again, I will witness the glory of a true and living Gods works.”

Thanks Robin & Gladys!

Where I find God #5

Where I find God – In my wife of 17 years.

I don’t want to call her a gift from God because I don’t want it to go to her head but without her I’d be lost. She’s an amazing person. She trusts in God and He’s done amazing things in her life. Luckily I’ve had a front row seat and have seen personally what God will do when you follow and trust Him.

*

You know what?  I’ll go ahead and say it, She is a gift from God.

So where do you find God?  I invite you to send me your pics, videos, thoughts etc… to me@unlikelychristian.com.  Could be your WIFG that shows up here next.

Last week I recvd this: “I saw God this weekend in Joplin; his mighty power and his healing power. I saw God in his people coming together to help others.”  – C. Terhune    Awesome!  Thanks!

*

It’s as simple as that.  It can be a pic, a video, a link or just a quick note on where you find God.  The goal is to show others that it’s easy to find God when you take time to look around.  He is everywhere!  I look forward to hearing from YOU!

Disclaimer: Okay, I’d just like to start out by saying that I’m not one of those people that claim to see visions of The Virgin Mary in a grilled cheese sandwich, the profile of Jesus in tree bark or the face of Moses in an oil stain on the driveway. That being said, I did see something pretty cool awhile back.

I try to take my dog for a walk in the park every morning. Not only is it good for me physically but mentally and spiritually as well. It’s usually fairly peaceful and it’s a great setting for pondering. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten one of those ‘Aha’ moments during the morning walk in the park. In fact, it happens so often that I’ve almost come to expect it. Anyway, I can’t remember what I was thinking about when I saw the below but I remember the feeling.

*

If you don’t see it, look at it again, turn your head sideways to the left and now imagine it on the back of somebody’s car, just above the ‘My boss is a Jewish carpenter’ bumper sticker.

A family canoe trip down the Mountain Fork River.

Togetherness, nature, cold water, good currents, great memories and the best bologna sandwich I ever had.
